Module 2 - Social Empowerment

There are many areas of work that Malaysian CARE is doing in the area of Social Empowerment. We assist people released from prison, those recovering from substance abuse and people living with HIV. For over 40 years, the Prison, Drugs and AIDS unit has been conducting classes for inmates, providing aftercare services via caseworkers and residential homes and support groups for people living with HIV.

Module 1 - Economic Empowerment

Malaysian CARE works with B40 communities, people with special needs and those who suffer from crime and substance abuse, from both rural and urban communities. We aim to empower them towards securing decent and sustainable livelihoods with renewed minds and awareness of God’s provisions. Our programmes and services include financial literacy classes, income generation projects, microfinancing, sustainable agriculture training, advocating for land rights and in recent times, crisis relief aid.
